ABOUT DR. RAGINI F. PIERCE

Namaste´ (rhymes with "Mama's Day")! This Hindu greeting translates into "The spirit in me honors the spirit in you." This sums up the spirit with which Dr. Ragini regards every person who comes to her for care.

This is a vitalistic practice (honoring the spirit or life force within) rather than a mechanistic (regarding the body as a machine with parts that need to be "fixed."

"There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost.

the world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open ... Above all else, keep the channel open." ....... Martha Graham

Dr. Ragini F. Pierce, D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) owns and operates Angel Touch Family Chiropractic in Muskegon, MI. Many years ago, she overcame many of her own health challenges as a result of adding regular chiropractic care to her health regimen.

Subsequently, after several career changes, she felt inspired to become a chiropractor at an age when most "normal" people are planning for retirement.

Decades of varied work and life experiences, including foreign travel, have given her service a depth and breadth born of what she has learned about people and the body-mind-spirit inter-relatedness relative to health and healing.

She offers low-force adjusting techniques, soft tissue work, and energy field balancing suitable for the tiniest infant to the most fragile senior.

Her focus is on family wellness, and she would like to draw more babies, children, and pregnant women to her practice as she moves toward specialization in pediatric chiropractic care.

During the 20 years before before she decided to attend chiropractic college, she was a massage therapist, polarity energy balancing therapist, and a yoga teacher.

She received her training in those disciplines from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, located in Lenox, MA. She was a resident staff member there for 11 1/2 years.

She has taught yoga classes and seminars related to health, healing & yoga for over 25 years in PA, MA, IA, and -- for the last 11 years -- in Michigan.

During the past several years, she has conducted workshops locally and has been a guest workshop leader for low-income mothers and residential drug rehab women in Muskegon.

In addition, she does in-home energy healing sessions on animals, and she volunteers at a local animal rescue shelter.

She is available for health talks and for designing seminars and workshops

on health and healing for special-interest groups.
